The Missouri Department of Conservation is currently seeking a self- motivated individual for an hourly Resource Management Technician position. Primary duties will include Public Land Conservation, Area Maintenance, Operating basic farm equipment, Forestry work, Habitat Management, CWD monitoring, fire suppression, and other duties.

Qualifications: High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Must maintain a valid, current driver’s license. Applicant must be willing to submit to a drug test. Ability To: Work outside all day, including nights and weekends, in varying weather conditions. Ability to traverse forested habitats for distances of 1 mile or greater in various topographies. Accept all responsibilities of the job and assigned tasks. Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance. Be self-motivated. Prospective employee must comply with 105.262 RSMO (HB600), which requires state employees to file and pay their state income tax. Prospective employee must also be legally eligible to work for the State of Missouri.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 per hour
