Residential Rehabilitation Manager Job at People Encouraging People
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for coordination and application of residential services for clients who suffer from mental health illness, with an emphasis on monitoring program quality and services. Assist in the screening process of perspective residents and residential employment candidates, as required. Participate in various outside agency activities and ensure compliance with Core Service Agency certification requirements.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Screen and assess prospective residents and complete dispositions as needed.
- Process house placements and discharges.
- Administer RRP discharge summaries.
- Ensure that documentation contained in client records meets accreditation requirements outlined by regulatory agencies.
- Monitor medication and health concerns for all clients in the RRP program.
- Monitor quality of care services provided at residential sites.
- Communicate with other Agency departments in regards to clients concerns or needs; schedule and/or attend inter-departmental meetings as required.
- Inspect and monitor RRP site files and billing activities.
- Monitor program-funding budgets and billing items.
- Conduct regularly scheduled staff meetings to address concerns.
- Assist in the preparation of housing audits.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Residential program quality of care
Client referral, screening and placement services
Outside agency coordination (as required)
Client documentation compliance with regulatory agencies requirements
Client well being (clinically and physically)
Residential program billing and budget
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or Psychology with three to five years of experience in the mental health field. CPRP Certification Preferred.
OJT: Six to eight months training required for effective performance.
Job Requirements: Schedule must be flexible in order to handle various changes and commitments. Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills are required.
