Description

We are seeking part time Reservationists who are enthusiastic and customer service oriented. Previous reservation (or call center) experience is preferred but not required. Must be extremely reliable, work well under pressure, and display a positive work ethic. Applicants must be comfortable multi-tasking.

Duties may include:

• Booking of our reservations using a computerized reservation system
• Booking and payment of group tours and tastings at the winery
• Booking and payment of Private VIP tours and tastings at the winery
• Receive Guest calls on the telephone with questions and inquiries about the winery
• Routing calls to the appropriate department within the winery
• Provide information about experience and products that we offer at the winery
• Provide information to other services located in Napa County and surrounding areas
• Providing exceptional customer service to our guest
• Accurate data entry of customer information.
• Being flexible with scheduling
• Arriving to work on time and ready to start right away
• Working possible long hours/ evening events on occasion
• Weekend work availability REQUIRED. No exceptions
• Other responsibilities as directed

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills required
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and adhere to strict deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor
• Computer skills with knowledge of Windows O/S
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet and Outlook Mail and ability to learn new software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English a must. Bilingual is a plus
• Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion (a case of wine)
• Excellent telephone protocol
• Must be a team player
• Use of a multi-line phone system
• Wine knowledge preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older

This is a part time, non-exempt, variable hour position, starting salary is $16 to $19 per hour depending on experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (a wine case). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, and varying degrees of heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and equipment and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is frequently moderate to loud.
