New England Airlines is located at the Westerly State Airport. The airline is a family owned business that has been a vital link to Block Island for over 50 years.
We are seeking a hard-working, experienced Reservation Agent to help our guests in their travel plans. The ideal candidate is passionate about pleasing customers, has previous experience working in a customer service environment and has the ability to multitask and make quick decisions. We're looking for someone with advanced communication skills who enjoys interacting with guests and resolving their concerns. Responsibilities: * Receive and process reservation requests. * Be polite and effective when dealing with customers. * Be able to schedule flights and make adjustments in a timely manner without disrupting other flights. * Work under pressure to meet the needs of customers and airline staff. * Be aware of the policies of the airline and make sure that these policies are followed by all agents on the team.
We offer a flexible schedule and free flight benefits. This position is year round, starting with part time hours (20/25) a week for the off season, with more hours available during the peak seasons. Paid training is also available. Weekend, holidays and early evenings are a must!
