Research Project Assistant Job at University of California - Irvine
Under general supervision of the faculty Principal Investigator (PI), this individual will assist with research-related responsibilities supporting the AAPITIMIZE and VAMOS projects. The goal of these initiatives is to collaborate with community-based organizations to develop and implement data collection leading to greater health advocacy to reduce lung cancers in Southern California.

$24.77 - $26.39

Required:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in a health related field.
Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks. Proficient writing skills to prepare/compose/review a variety of communications, primarily electronic. Skill to use a personal computer and computer software programs at the level of sophistication required for general office work. Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with the Internet and how to conduct searches. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate easily and effectively with people within and outside the University.
Preferred:
Data analysis skills preferred. Previous experience working in social & behavioral research, nutritional science, and/or in a health promotion program preferred.
