Summary:

Responsible for assisting with the accounting and deposit operation functions for the Bank. Performs a variety of routine accounting duties according to existing procedures, methods, and systems. Responsible for administering the indemnity process for various Payment Programs by corresponding to Program Managers and ODFI Banks/Treasury. Works closely with the Audit Coordinator to assist with the Deposit Account reviews.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate's degree in accounting or related field.

Licenses/Certifications: None.

Experience: Two years of related experience and/or training, preferably in a Bank setting. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Functions:

A: Job Specific:

• Responsible for the indemnity process: submits all requests for research to Payments Program Manager, reviews all responses and sends responses/documentation/funds, if available to ODFI Banks/Treasury.
• Assists the Audit Coordinator in performing deposit account reviews during audits and exams.

• Attends all mandatory in-services, training and staff meetings.
• Maintains confidentiality of customer and organization information.

• Responsible for compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, and Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the USA PATRIOT Act and OFAC.
