Pay Scale
- $13/ hr - less than one year of experience repairing phones and computers
- $14/ hr - One year of professional experience + micro soldering experience
- $15+/ hr - 2 + years of professional experience ( or Lead Technician)
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair devices
- Provide recommendations for problem resolution
- Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple way
- Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers
- Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all store stock
- Utilize the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each repair.
Qualifications
You should have, or have an interest in pursuing some of the following certifications, degrees or technical training. You don't have to have them, but If this stuff doesn't excite you, then this may not be the right job for you.
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- Wise Certification*
- Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT)
- Technical degree or certification in Electronics or Consumer Electronics
- Micro Soldering experience
- Wise certification will be provided by UBREAKIFIX once hired
Important: As part of you interview you will be asked to successfully repair 2 or more devices. You should feel comfortable tearing down and reassembling devices.
