Our great client in Milwaukee, WI has an immediate long term contract opening for a Remote Manual QA Tester. If you are interested please apply with resume to aboettcher@apexsystems.com.
This is more manual vs automated testing.
QA Analyst:
- Creating and executing test plans for given sprint
- Identify areas of gaps for test automation
- Provides automation coaching, and training.
- Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations
- Spot areas for improvement to enhance the product's efficiency and communicate them with the team
- knowledge with Agile methodology and have worked in SCRUM teams
- Proficiency in using Jira for getting requirements and defect logging and tracking, or similar tools
- experience in Xray or other test management tools to manage testing activities
- Understanding of test automation concept. Automation experience is a plus
- strong verbal communication and technical documentation writing skills
- Analytical and detail oriented
- An understanding of the mortgage lending and mortgage insurance industry is a plus
- Work in an Agile environment and participate in all Agile ceremonies
- Develop & execute test plan and test strategy
- Create & Execute Manual Test Cases
- Logging detailed and accurate defects and following through to closure
- Work closely with Agile team in sprints to ensure quality products are delivered.
- Assist test automation engineers in identifying automation targets
- identify areas of gaps for continuous process improvement
