Determine patient?s financial liability for procedure (s) to be performed.
Notify patient of appointment time, liability amount and any special instructions.
Advise patient to notify Central Scheduling if rescheduling is necessary.
Notify ordering physician?s office of patient arrangements so chart may be updated in office
Call to contact patient every 48 hrs to keep informed concerning scheduling.
Confirm insurance eligibility / precertification validity
Maintain patient log to be presented to Supervisor.
Prepare next day list of scheduled appointments for Admissions and deliver at end of business day.
Identify training needs and communicate these to supervisor.
Registered all patients for ot,pt,st.
Break down all charts per your shift.
Do all pre-certification for all insurance
Answer Incoming calls.
Help patients get to the area they need to get too.
Help patient get out of car if needed.
Make copies of all forms needed.
All other duties assigned.

Staff member demonstrates familiarity with the disaster manual by quickly locating various disaster protocols and emergency phone numbers.
For each plausible disaster type, staff member accurately verbalizes contingency.
