Visiting Angels of Wall is a non-medical home care agency that employs certified home health aides (caregivers) to provide non-medical ADL assistance to seniors in need in our community. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team as Nurse Supervisor and will participate in all aspects of overseeing client care. This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing. Our territory includes Asbury Park, Avon, Belmar, Brielle, Farmingdale, Freehold, Howell, Manasquan, Neptune, Ocean, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Tinton Falls & Ocean. The ideal candidate must also have day time/morning availability (with flexibility - you can create your own schedule) Must be able to start within 2 weeks or less.

The responsibilities below are associated with the oversight of 45 clients:

• Performing assessments for new clients as needed, case monitoring (every 60 days) and re-assessments (every 6 months)
• Composing an appropriate plan of care for each client
• Performing monthly phone interviews with clients
• Phone orient caregivers as needed

The responsibilities below are associated with all caregivers:

• New caregiver orientations (in office) and new caregiver first visits (in home)
• Caregiver annual supervisory visits (in home)
• Caregiver annual evaluations (in office)

This is a flexible part time position and is ideal for someone who is organized and prefers some freedom with owning their own schedule. In exchange for the responsibilities above, you will be compensated $50 per visit and 10 hour minimum guaranteed weekly!. Plus, you can go over that amount, if you wish to take on more clients! If you do not have homecare experience, this is an extremely flexible position with room to grow as we obtain new clients. We have wonderful caregivers and great clients who appreciate what we do in the community!

Minimum required experience:

Must be Vaccinated and Boosted for Covid-19

BS in nursing or health-related field, plus two years of professional experience as an Registered Nurse in community or home health.

OR

RN + three years of professional experience as an Registered Nurse in community or home health with progressive nursing responsibilities.

Accreditation policies and procedures and survey experience is a plus!

Total Compensation plan:

Guaranteed $500 per week with additional earning opportunities

Inter-visit travel time & mileage reimbursement
