MUST:
Experienced Registered Nurse
1+ years of professional experience
1+ years of pediatric experience
Knowledge of current pediatric primary and clinical skills including: immunizations, common illnesses, and growth and development milestones
EMR Experience
Active Registered Nurse License

DUTIES:

Provide clear empathetic telephone advice to parents and patients
Use communication skills to assess, plan, implement, educate and evaluate patient outcomes
Coordination of care between specialist, PCP, pharmacies, insurance companies and other entities
Obtain prior authorizations for prescriptions and diagnostic imaging
Assist pediatricians with any duties necessary both telephonic and in office
Backup medical assistants in clinical area assisting with patients in office and performing lab duties such as obtaining vital signs, immunizations, blood draws, urine catherization and lead/hemoglobin testing.
Provide prenatal tours of office to new expecting parents
Telephone follow-up of newborns
Other tasks as needed
