Registered Vascular Technician

MUST:
Experienced Registered Vascular Technician
Must have 2 plus years of experience as Registered Vascular Technician (RVT)
Must be currently registered as Registered Vascular Technician (RVT)
Must be registered through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Must have a BLS
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
DUTIES:
Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Responsible for performing full spectrum of vascular non-invasive testing to evaluate arterial and venous circulation
Perform various complex, diagnostic, non-invasive vascular studies to evaluate the condition of the arterial and venous systems
Routine testing includes Carotid Duplex, PVR, Peripheral Venous Duplex (DVT, Reflux, Lower Extremity Vein Mapping), Native Artery of LE and Bypass Graft Duplex and Renal Artery Duplex
Assist the physician in performing vein ablations
Efficiently perform upper/lower extremity arterial/venous dopplers, venous reflux, abdominal aorto-iliac, abdominal ivc-iliac, carotid, renal artery doppler, and ABIs
Superior customer service skills and work ethic
Excellent patient care skills
Promote continuous improvement and ensure that a high level of quality service is provided to all patients
Work closely with the staff reviewing and updating the ultrasound schedule at each clinic to ensure good and efficient patient care
Maintain patient load at an efficient and productive level, without compromising patient care or education
