Hammond, IN Job Purpose and Impact
The Regional Storeroom Lead will provide guidance to drive management and control of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) warehouse material within the organization. In this role, you will help executing the area strategy and activities. You will be a key member of the Regional Reliability Leadership Team. Key Accountabilities
Provide material and obsolescence management as well as maintain condition strategies to provide operational effectiveness.
Conduct storeroom processes associated with receiving, inventory and dispatching for both internal and external locations.
Partner with vendors and contract adherence related to maintenance repair and operations stores activities.
Help ensure all maintenance repair and operations materials are in optimum condition.
Provide collaboration with maintenance processes for smooth work management integration.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Travel up to 40% Preferred Qualifications
Relevant experience of running an MRO storeroom
Relevant experience with SAP transactions used to manage an MRO storeroom
Experience working with multiple sites to achieve KPIs by using data analysis and reports
Lean six sigma certification
