Ridley Block Operations, part of the Alltech® Feed Division, manufactures and markets low moisture block supplements, pressed blocks, poured tubs, loose minerals, and dried molasses. Products are sold under highly recognized and proprietary brand names, including: CRYSTALYX®, SWEETLIX®, and STOCKADE®. We also offer several controlled and privately labeled products. We are currently seeking candidates for a Regional Sales Manager position for the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States. The desired candidate will reside in Kentucky, Tennessee, North or South Carolina, Virginia, or West Virginia.

The Regional Sales Manager will lead a team of sales professionals to service and grow existing business, as well as prospect new customers and distributors to drive growth in market share and serve more animal owners.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Set clear goals by territory for both organic growth, new customer growth, and professional development activities

· Coach Account Managers on an on-going basis, provide feedback, document performance, and hold sales team accountable for performance

· Work closely with production, marketing, customer service, and pricing functions to ensure high levels of collaboration and teamwork to serve customers

· Work closely with nutrition and marketing team to ensure portfolio of products is right fit and size for the market and enable manufacturing efficiencies

· Travel regularly in the market to team sell with Account Managers and collect market/competitor intelligence

· Actively manage pricing and margin within established guidelines

· Manage and assist employees as needed to ensure customers follow credit policies and procedures

Qualifications:

· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the agriculture industry with both sales and management level experience

· Bachelor's degree in ag related field (or equivalent experience)

· High competency with people leadership

· Possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible to work in the US

· Some overnight travel will be required
