Regional Sales Director - PNW Territory Job at Northwest Pathology, PS
JOB SUMMARY
Leading a team of sales representatives and reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Regional Sales Director is the front-line sales leader responsible for designing and executing a commercial sales strategy to drive profitable growth in the market throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. This position works closely with the Marketing and Operations teams to present the company’s value proposition to clinicians and generate interest in our diagnostic testing solutions. This is a “player-manager” position in which the director leads a territory sales team while managing her/his own client accounts.
Northwest Pathology operates on a 24/7/365 basis; individual must be flexible and available during regular business hours as well as nights, weekends, and holidays depending upon business needs. Schedule flexibility with and without advanced notice is required.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Devise and deploy a territory sales plan that strategically targets prospects, identifies opportunities and drives aggressive and profitable growth.
- Work collaboratively with the company’s marketing department to develop an effective marketing strategy.
- Develop and lead an effective territory sales team.
- Define, measure and manage accountability standards for goal-driven performance.
- Provide effective guidance and direction to teams while creating an inclusive environment.
EDUCATION /CERTIFICATION/LICENSE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus.
- Active and valid US State-Issued Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle record as defined and approved by NWP-NWL vehicle insurance carrier
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of excellent sales performance history with a proven background of selling laboratory and/or diagnostic solutions
- Distinguished record of accomplishments with performance characterized by highest ethical standards

- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers/keyboards/mice, printers, phones, mobile devices, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, etc. The noise level these environments varies from moderate to loud. Incumbent may be exposed to chemicals and requires the use of personal protection equipment and universal precautions.
- Position will require local and domestic travel.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; grasp and/or reach with hands and arms; repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity and ability to adjust focus to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing computer monitor(s); extensive reading; and legally operate a motor vehicle.
