REGIONAL HR GENERALIST

Our Team is growing again! We are adding additional HR support for our expanding portfolio of SNF, AL and IL facilities in Oklahoma and Georgia and are seeking HR professionals with experience in the senior living landscape to partner with us in supporting our facilities and facility leaders. Join a passionate and dedicated team focused on excellence in the resident and family experience through ensuring that our team members and their leaders experience a supportive, appreciative, and meaningful workplace. You will provide guidance to facilities and Executive Directors on implementation of our HR systems and policies, payroll, our employee appreciation programs, Federal and State labor and employment law compliance and liaise with our Corporate HR. Key Responsibilities: Perform all duties relative to the facilities payroll function o accurately processing biweekly payroll within required timeframe, input payroll changes, pay rate adjustments, terminations, garnishments, and child support orders o accurately maintain all payroll files Mentor department heads on HR issues and provide guidance to facility for employee relation issues and the effective and consistent application of applicable policies and procedures Work with Compliance Officer and assist with investigations, as needed Responsible for tracking and notifying supervisors of employee performance evaluations, and working with supervisors to ensure that such evaluations are adequately completed Identify and track changes in HR rules and regulations for the jurisdictions supported and coordinate Corporate HR to ensure compliance. Track employee hours to maintain proper staffing ratio and to minimize OT and agency staffing Prepare offer letters and approve new hire pay rates according to corporate guidelines Conduct reference checks, abuse registry checks, and certification/licensure checks (if applicable), prior to giving job offer Schedule fingerprinting and drug screens, as required Organize and maintain accurate electronic personnel files Maintain confidentiality of personnel files Complete and maintain I-9 forms Responsible for verifying and auditing TB, Hep B, COVID vaccinations or exemptions and all required employee education, trainings, and in-services Manage employee’s logins for Paycor and PCC Ensure all required posters and documentation are displayed appropriately in all facilities Benefits o Assist with benefits administration and be an information resource for employees o Review benefit premium invoices for accuracy, and audit on a monthly basis o Assist in Open Enrollment o Manage and track FMLA, LOA, unemployment claims and Workers Compensation Responsible for monthly QOC reporting, quarterly PBJ reporting and daily labor report to maintain PPD Organize and facilitate employee retention/appreciation programs This is a work from home position available if you live in the following states: AR, GA, KS, MO, TX, and OK. Must be able to travel occasionally to different facilities within the region. Travel approx. 25%. Qualifications: Must have current PHR or SHRM-CP certification Must have experience running payroll Minimum of Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred At least 3-5 years HR experience in LTC (required) Good driving record required with ability to travel to different facilities, as needed Self-starter with natural tendency to take initiative and work independently Strong judgement, problem solving, and ability to handle confidential information Excellent organization, attention to detail, accuracy, written and verbal communication skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
