Job Summary:
As a regional director of Last Mile Home Delivery, you will be the main point of contact for retail clients to research and discuss any issues pertaining to the day-to-day operation. As a regional director, you will be responsible for the execution of all operational goals of your units.
Essential Functions:
· Establish and maintain excellent relationship with Client and be first point of contact for all items escalated beyond terminal manager
· Oversee recruitment, vetting, compliance and management of Independent Contractors and Owner Operators
· Reviews terminal specific metric results and ensures processes and improvements are made within entire region to establish best practices
· Claims management oversight
· Ensure proper documentation is provided into corporate office
· Travel to different terminals to maintain presence with both client and Terminal personnel
- Defining, implementing and revising operational policies and guidelines for the organization specific to defined client’s needs
- Managing procurement and resource allocation
- Must be willing to travel 50% - 75%

- Interpersonal skills to help them communicate with both executives and employees in order to create and administer policies
- A thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles so they can assess the company's earnings and spending to find areas for improvement
- Strong personal and professional judgment, which are invaluable skills for a role that makes hiring decisions
- Ability to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly
- Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority, which is essential to a role that juggles a variety of functions and projects
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Proficient problem solving skills
- Develop relationships with general managers and retail client team to ensure excellent customer service
- Research and identify delivery failures to establish coaching opportunities to assist management with improving overall weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics.
- 10-12 years of 3PL industry regulations and operational guidelines
- Ability to deal with difficult people with empathy and understanding
- Ability to problem solve quickly
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be proficient in data retrieval from internet job databases.
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Must be professional in presentation and interaction
- Must be highly detail oriented
- Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency, be self-driven, have leadership skills, be a team player and strong relationship builder.
- Ability to effectively respond and interact with all levels of organization.
- Must have positive work ethic, ability to connect and inspire others, and communicate clearly.
- Other duties as assigned.
