About your new role:

The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for leading all recruiting efforts including: exempt, non-exempt, and manufacturing positions. You will collaborate with hiring managers and leaders to attract top talent to the company. The Recruiting Specialist will schedule applicant testing, interviews, pre-employment screenings, and compose and distribute rejection letters and other correspondence as requested. You will use traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, employee referral programs, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.

The Recruiting Specialist leads the new hire orientation process and orientation sessions of new employees. You will also work in the HRIS system to enter applicant and employee information, maintain transfer requests, enter personal and payroll related entries, and perform audits on the HRIS data to ensure its accuracy.

What you need:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field.

Minimum of 2 years of full cycle recruitment experience. Demonstrated success attracting passive candidates using social media tools.

Experience with high volume recruiting hiring multiple positions.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).

Experience using an Applicant Tracking System is preferred.

Must have good organizational and time management skills as well as have the ability to meet deadlines with appropriate attention to detail in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment.

Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.

Must be self-directed, action oriented and highly motivated.
