The Talent Acquisition team at The Vertex Company is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to provide administrative assistance to our recruiting team.

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Schedule meetings, interviews, and HR events and maintain agendas.
    • Handle last-minute scheduling changes.
  • Coordinate TA training sessions and seminars.
  • Conduct and Coordinate New Hire Orientation.
  • Produce and Submit reports on general TA activity.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by initiating and monitoring background checks and drug screenings.
  • Assist with the posting of open positions in the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Coordinate candidate Travel
  • Other duties as assigned

Professional Requirements, Qualifications & Desired Competencies:

  • H/S Diploma or equivalent AND 1-2 years of experience as an HR administrator or Coordinator.
  • Prior experience using an Applicant Tracking System.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently when needed
  • Highly computer literate
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Attentive listener
  • Ability to follow directions accurately and without hesitation
