CALCAP Properties is looking for an experienced property management recruiter to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a recruiter, you will be responsible for executing the overall Company recruiting strategy in the search for qualified candidates. You should have the communication and networking skills necessary to attract and engage a strong network of well qualified candidates. As a successful recruiter you will perform a critical role in improving and implementing hiring practices on all recruiting related matters, including, but not limited to, sourcing and attracting candidates, conducting prescreens, overseeing the background check process, and more.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with Regional Directors on a regular basis to understand current and proactively identify future hiring needs
  • Manage social media (LinkedIn, job boards, user groups etc.), and applicant tracking systems to quickly identify ideal candidates
  • Screen candidate resumes and identify top talent
  • Build a strong talent pool for a variety of positions and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Report on effective sourcing and recruiting trends and recommend strategies to improve our recruitment efforts

Other job functions:

  • Attend and participate in training and continuing education classes, as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Participate in on-site or remote activities

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and negotiation skills
  • A passion to understand and engage top talent
  • Proven track record of building relationships with candidates and hiring managers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time
  • Participation in industry groups is preferred
  • High school diploma, college degree or related coursework preferred
  • Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills
  • A minimum of 2 years HR or recruiting experience
  • A minimum of 2 years multi-family experience
  • Must understand the importance of discretion and confidentiality, must practice this with the utmost confidentiality
  • Ability to perform tasks within HR processes and legal implications
  • High proficiency in computer applications. Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, Indeed, and Zip Recruiter
  • Insperity experience preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency for efficiently managing multiple tasks and projects
