Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Responsible for job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in recruiting events as identified, and responsible for researching and outreach to find useful events.
  • Oversees parades during warm months including managing employees to assist, swag, advertisements.
  • Leads effort on company swag and social media presence, building FUN.com brand via web as well as word of mouth.
  • During season, steps in where necessary to assist in Human Resources needs as part of team effort. Offers guidance and support for season recruiting and directing HR Assistants
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Social Media expertise and willingness to develop this presence for efficient recruiting.
  • Excellent technology skills, use of ATS and payroll software.
  • Initiative and drive to be an advocate for the organization as well as timely hiring process.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources functional areas.
  • Ability to cultivate and build relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong sales skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to facilitate and bring varied individuals and opinions to decision

Required Experience

  • Associates degree in HR, Business or similar field.
  • At least 3 years related field experience.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Public Relations or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years recruiting experience for various levels and roles.
  • Previous significant leadership experience preferred.
