MEI Auto Finance is hiring a Repossession/Recovery Agent.
Motivated & Driven Individuals – Opportunity to make $60k - $120k!!
Position Purpose:
Our Repossession/Recovery Agents work directly with the lender. The ideal candidate has repossession/recovery experience, experience with online recovery databases tools/resources, career minded, & can work independently without constant supervision.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Ability to receive repossession assignments handed down from managers.- Begin process of initiating repossession of vehicle.
- Partner with Skip Trace Specialists in locating/recovering vehicle.
- Use various online recovery database tools/resources – RDN, CleanPlan, & DRN to locate vehicle.
- Consistent communication & provide updates via phone & email to all required parties.
- Take pictures of vehicles as needed.
- Complete condition reports as needed.
- Record and turn in accurate time sheets in a timely matter.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
- Non-Traditional hours
Education/Qualification Requirements:
TDLR License- Wheel Lift experience (Required)
- Must be able to pass a Drug test
- Prior Repossession Experience a PLUS
- Driving: 3 years (Required)
- Must be at least 24 years of age for insurance purposes.
- Familiar with Recovery Software – RDN, CleanPlan, & DRN.
- Ability & willingness to partner with Skip Trace Specialists in locating/recovering vehicle.
- Customer service skills, Computer skills, and Professionalism.
- General mechanical understanding of automobiles.
- Good communication skills and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Must be able to learn new software, pay close attention to details and willing to learn.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Available to work Non-traditional hours.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Driver's License and TDLR License must meet insurability standards of MEI Auto Group to be an experienced Repossession/Recovery Agent.
