Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Manchester, NH is a 120-bed facility offering short and long-term care in a warm and supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We are looking for a Per Diem Receptionist to join our team. Work schedule is Wed evening 4:30p to 8pm and every other Sunday morning. Shifts may also be available to cover vacations and holidays. We'll pay you based on your experience and offer you a great work environment.
Job Responsibilities;
- Warmly acknowledge and greet visitors, guests, residents and vendors, etc.
- Answer multi-line telephone system, determine nature of call and forward caller to appropriate individual or department
- Receive requests from within the facility and locate personnel through paging system
- Give directions/information to visitors, guests, residents, vendors, etc.
- Follow all established safety procedures and precautions when operating office equipment and report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns
- Provide administrative support to management team; perform administrative tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED;- At least one year’s experience working in a customer service related field
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
- Possess excellent time management and verbal/written communication skills
- Must be punctual, dependable, and demonstrate compassion and patience
- Must be able to read, write and speak English and follow oral and written instructions
- Interact professionally and cheerfully with residents, family members, visitors and staff
