Kinsa is recruiting for a: R&D Manager Frozen Foods
Location: Long Island, New York
Our client is a well-established, rapidly growing manufacturer of premium food products. In their state-of-the-art facility they develop and supply product for leading retailers, wholesalers, and private label partners. In this role you will oversee and lead the product development program from concept to commercialization, with responsibilities for collaborating with customers and project stakeholders and developing a team of direct reports. You will also support new process development and technology evaluations. Our client is a collaborative and non-hierarchical organization, so you can count on being given a great deal of ownership and the necessary support to succeed. This is an on-site based role. Relocation is supported!

Competencies Needed:
· 7+ years of hands-on product development (bench top to commercialization) experience in multiple food product categories, especially frozen/refrigerated foods
· Experience with Asian flavors and fusion profiles a plus!
· Experience leading a team of direct reports
· BS degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related field
