Quality Improvement Specialist Job at Tabor Services Inc.
Under the direction of the Performance Management Program Manager in the Performance Management Business Unit (PMBU), the Performance Management Specialist assists with the implementation of the compliance, risk management and performance improvement responsibilities of the Department of Human Services (DHS) standards and outcomes, PA DHS regulations, Bucks County Children & Youth (BCCY) standards and outcomes, Chester County Children & Youth (CCCY), Department of Behavioral Health standards and outcomes, and Tabor Children’s Services (TCS) plans of improvement. This position requires collaborative work with leaders and staff at all levels of the organization, designing and implementation of record audits on various standards and summarizing findings into performance improvement initiatives; processing, reporting and analyzing data.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two (2) years experience in program evaluation and monitoring of child, youth and family serving systems. Preferred understanding of behavioral healthcare systems and organizations of care, regulations and standards, risk management, incident reporting, and performance improvement processes.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Strong working knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point) and ability to work with various digital information systems. Knowledge of DHS Connect is a plus.
- Knowledge of social work values and/or child welfare services.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, analyze data, and draw conclusions.
- Ability to read and apply licensing, regulatory, funder and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of culturally competent values, principles and practices required.
The salary for this position is $42K-$45, with final offer being contingent on experience. Must be willing to undergo FBI background check, child abuse clearance, and criminal background check.
