ClearStaff in Streamwood are in search of quality control technicians for a customer who manufactures overhead lighting. This position would train in the Streamwood area for 2 to 6 months. Once training is complete you will be transferred to their facility in the Bensenville area.
Schedule:
- 1st shift: 7:30AM to 4PM OR 8AM to 4:30PM Monday to Friday
- Pay rate is between $20.00/hr to $23.00/hr depending on level of experience.
This position will be conducting interviews on May 16th and May 17th.
Responsibilities:
- Test and inspect equipment for customer orders
- Make sure unit is perfect
- Ensure that equipment is functioning to company standards
- Confirm systems have all necessary parts and components
- Provide feedback to supervisor of all discovered issues or defects
- Maintain record of all testing reports via entry into computer systems
- Request all necessary components to the unit to the order
- Perform all testing tasks
- Complete all paperwork requested and provide results to the supervisor
- Follow the all-final checking procedures to the QC department standards/processes
- Maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Some electrical and mechanical skills
- Attention to detail is a must
- Ability to use a computer
- Daily standing position and lifting variety of parts, sizes, and weights (up to 40 lbs.)
- Ability to read blueprints
- Must own STEEL TOED Shoes
- Able to pass Pre-employment screening (Drug test, Background Screening)
