Piedmont Global Language Solutions (PGLS) is a Language Services Provider that leverages the power of

PGLS specializes in translation, interpretation, language instruction, language testing, and bilingual
staffing in over 200 languages and dialects. PGLS works with thousands of content experts to ensure
that the message of its customers around the globe is communicated effectively.
One of the most critical steps in the process is quality control. PGLS strives to deliver outstanding quality
and thus employs a large US-based and global quality control team to ensure all deliverables meet and
exceed the quality standards set by our clients.

Quality Control (QC) Specialists are an essential part of our quality control team. QC Specialists will work
onsite at the Arlington office Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm EST. QC Specialists are fluent in
a foreign language (Spanish) and have an excellent command of English.

Requirements
QC Specialists will be available to perform services such as:

• Review transcribed and/or translated foreign language audio and text to ensure the accuracy of file names and proper format, style, content, grammar, and punctuation
• Review transcribed text against the spoken audio (in their native language) to ensure translation accuracy
• Practice expert judgment to immediately report any work that might needs to be redone
• Gather data on frequent errors and make recommendations about vendors if necessary
• Participate in occasional or routine meetings for QC specialists

Some requirements for QC Specialists include:

• Ability to pass a credit/criminal background check and a drug test
• Complete the work within short turnaround windows
• High attention to detail and work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
• Have a high level of reliability, productivity, and professionalism, as well as strong time management skills
