Remote Solutions, producers of Safe-T-Rack® -an innovative, patented tool for circuit breaker remote racking and control - is looking for a qualified Quality Control/Document Specialist. Our products provide a comprehensive alternative to arc flash protection garments.

Fundamental Responsibilities of a Quality Control/Document Specialist:

* Perform inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process materials and finished goods in a compliant manner

* Participates in design reviews to ensure inclusion of quality requirements

* Produces product inspection standard documentation

* Documents test results, complete batch records, document observations and generates reports for qualification testing

* Conducts data analysis of raw materials, in-process materials and finished goods test results

* Responsible for generating compliant QC documentation

* Manages the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process for all controlled documentation for the company through established procedures. Works with all employees to ensure ECOs are clear, concise, complete and implemented in a timely manner.

* Updates, maintains, and is librarian for both electronic and printed technical documentation utilizing the company document control system as well as hard copy files where required

Fundamental Knowledge and Experience:

*High mechanical aptitude

*The ability to develop and articulate mechanical requirements based on customer needs

*The ability to work hands-on to create useful prototypes

*Experience with component and assembly design

*Read and understand part prints and tolerances

*Familiar with the use of Calipers, Micrometers, Drop Indicators and good measurement practices

Required Certifications and Licenses:

*High School Diploma/GED

*Valid US Driver’s License with a clean driving record

Additional Requirements:

*Familiarity with CAD – (Solid Edge or comparable)

*Ability to work with minimal supervision

*Excellent English language communications skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to deal effectively with customers* Initial and random drug testing and background checks are mandatory for this position
