Quality Assurance Technician Job at Epic Personnel Partners, LLC
Job Purpose:
The purpose of WCD, Quality Assurance Department is to help ensure quality, safe product are distributed to Trade Joe’s stores utilizing Trade Joe’s food safety guideline in conjunction with State and federal requirement.
The QA tech will fill an essential role in the monitoring of the safety and quality programs. The successful QA tech will have a scientific base of knowledge, a tenacious character, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Lift 50 lbs.
- Work standinf or walking for most working shift
- Good computer skilles is a must
- Knowledge of food safety principles, FDA, GMPs
- Verifying compliance to company standards and policies, and effectively communicating when there are deviations from standards
- Ability to operate testing equipment
- High level organization skills, including writing and verbal communication, creative problem solving, answer e-mail and commitment to company goal
- Reasearch skills
- Ability to speak to small group and conduct training
- 2 years degreed or certification on food science, or experience working with food
- Maintain accurate and organized records of QA activities
- Report to QA supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
