As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be in an essential position for the plant’s Quality. You will participate in the plant’s Quality initiatives focused on key business processes that influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost-effectiveness, and product quality. This position will be responsible for driving the vision and fostering the growth of quality assurance policies, programs, and initiatives. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
A Quality Assurance Manager is a management professional who is responsible for establishing quality standards and procedures. In addition to monitoring processes locally to ensure those standards are being met.Ensuring Plant processes meet customer expectations and industry standards at every stage of the production cycle, from product order to when the product is in our customers’ hands. Supporting the objectives to maximize the profitability of the organization and improve efficiencies.
Process Management (60%)
Oversee the Quality Management System at all levels within the North West region, ensuring that it’s being executed.Ensure all Non-conforming products and Processes are reported through the company PIO system by all departments throughout the plant according to company requirements. Managing and monitoring corrective actions (CARs). Partnering with others within the branch, or outside the branch in researching product problems. Ensure that root cause analysis, and corrective actions are developed, and implemented with validation of improvements.Ensure compliance with all relevant ISO regulatory requirements and provide training to all required individuals. This position is the main point of contact for all External and Internal ISO compliance Audits. Results of all audits are this individual responsibility when it comes to the execution of Corrective Actions and Observations which must be completed within the required specified time.Collaborate with independent, third-party auditors to provide evidence of compliance for code report sustainment through audits at this plant and all plant satellite locations. Follow through on any Corrective Action given by the third-party auditor within the specified time.Oversee the Northwest’s document control program according to company operating procedures. Analyze and update quality documentation (work instructions, one-point lessons, internal references, forms, etc.), making certain that best practices are being implemented.The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for all plant’s compliance with company requirements for all Calibration processes and works with each of the defined plant’s Calibration Representative to ensure compliance.Develop and monitor corrective measures. Professionally communicate critical time-sensitive information, exceptions, and changes to affected business segments.
Data Management (25%)
Monitor customer complaints and internal quality issues to identify trends using data from the PIO system, SAP QN system, and Home Office Metrics. In addition to evaluating trends for improvement, this role will track and analyze, data and metricsManage the oversite and execution of Plants data; focusing on the plant targets that support plant leadership targets and align to True North metrics.This role will provide strategic plant business initiatives for improvements and efficiencies. Based on data, this role will be responsible for regularly communicating reports and presentations from a plant level and up through management. This position will analyze product defects and customer complaint trends to find the areas of growth and improvement on a plant level.
Team Guidance (15%)
This position is responsible for providing direction and guidance to the team of Quality Coordinator and Quality Assistant, in support of the Quality Program.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- ISO 9001:2015 Certified/Trained preferred
- 5+ years of experience management quality systems within manufacturing & warehousing operations.
- 2+ years of experience in the application of Lean/ Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- 2+ years of experience in managing projects, specifically those focused on quality.
- Speaking: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
- Writing: Ability to write in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience
- Analysis/Reasoning: Ability to analyze and collect data
- Problem Solving: Ability to have attention to detail and ensure accuracy of information
- Adaptability & Flexibility: Ability to adjust timelines, results, and expectations appropriately to changing needs
- Critical Thinking: Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative
- Attention to Detail: Ability to possess strong organization skills
- Self-Management/Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Teamwork: Ability to facilitate cooperation and motivate team members to accomplish group goals
- Proficiency using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required
TRAVEL REQUIRED
This position requires domestic travel up to 10% of the time.
WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This full-time, exempt position is located in Stockton, CA.

Relocation is available for this position.
PAY
$39.33 - $51.11 / Hour$81,800 – 106,300 / Year
