ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Quality Assurance Assistant will assist the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure quality and compliance across the agency as guided by H.A.S.’ Mission, Vision, and Values. The Assistant will be instrumental in the department by helping to monitor accreditation standards, contractual obligations and through effectively-implemented agency policies.
Quality Assurance Assistant Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of duties associated with the Quality Assurance Program that include but are not limited, to the monitoring of participant care and performance management.
- Assist in reviewing participants’ charts to ensure that all intake procedures have been followed and that the admission criteria have been met based on supporting documentation.
- Help review compliance standards of treatment plan development.
- Collect, analyze and summarize Participant Satisfaction Surveys and feedback from Participant Suggestion boxes.
- Assists in gathering data to ensure H.A.S. meets all State and Federal treatment outcome measurements.
- Assist in the development of quality indicators and department reports.
- Aid the Quality Assurance Manager in reviewing and analyzing incidents and significant incident reports.
- Aid the Quality Assurance Manager in creating, scheduling, coordinating and/or facilitating trainings.
- Performs tasks and/or coverage as needed.
- Performs any other related duties as requested by Quality Assurance Manager, COO or CEO.
Quality Assurance Assistant Qualifications:
- Flexible to adapt to schedules and work load to the needs and demands of the program.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office application, TEAMS application, and other understanding of computer technology.
- H.A.S. requires all staff to work on site.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited educational institution which has U.S. Department of Education approval preferred; Public Health, Quality Healthcare Administration, or Health Services accepted.
- Knowledge of ASAM criteria, DSM 5, and ICD-10 preferred.
- Knowledge of Substance Use Disorders programs and/or Mental Health programs preferred.
