LSSI is offering a full-time position for Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional, Monday through Friday. Provide case management & individual plan development and implementation to program clients. Maintain programs in regulatory compliance.

*Thisposition complies with the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) rule, which requires that employees working in certain programs are fully vaccinated unless you have an approved medicalor religious exemption.Routine COVID-19 Testing is required if exempt from the COVID-19 vaccination*

Essential Functions:

  • Develop & monitor the implementation of each client's individual habilitation plan.
  • Facilitate integration & coordination of all client services.
  • Maintain programs in relevant regulatory compliance.
  • Complete all necessary reports & documentation by given timelines.
  • Direct, train, & supervise staff in the delivery of program services.
  • Interact with clients, families, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clients' needs are met.
  • Provide leadership & supervision to program staff.
  • Confer with staff in other departments or agencies, as needed, in relation to client service delivery.
  • Periodic and/or rotating on-call responsibility to respond to issues that occur within 24 hour programs.
  • outside of normal working hours.
  • Perform other related tasks as necessary or assigned, including duties of other positions as needed,
  • within the scope of appropriate licensure.
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Education, Special Education, Registered Nurse, or Human Service related field.
  • One year experience working with individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, comprehensible manner.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity & responsiveness to cultural differences present in the agency's
  • service population.
  • Participate in ongoing training as required to maintain credentials.
