Starting Pay $18.39 + $.15 shift differential for 2nd shift and $.30 shift differential for 3rd shift.

At the Johns Manville Edison, NJ facility, we manufacture PVC fitting covers and jacketing for use with Micro-Lok as well as other types of pipe insulation. It's a neat process, but what is even cooler is how we do it...

Your Day to Day:
- Supports and promotes safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company commitments, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Show initiative in supporting safety, plant wide. Participate on committees as required.
- Ensures that all Housekeeping & 5S areas of responsibility have been completed before end of shift and keeps equipment, work areas and other prescribed areas clean and orderly at all times.
- Wears all required and proper PPE.
- Uses a manual pallet jack for general material handling purposes.
- Uses safe work practices and reports hazardous conditions at all times to supervisor.
- Complete computer-based training and all other programs needed to stay in compliance with company policy's.
- Receives and follows verbal and written instructions from supervisor or leader.
- Prepares production reports as directed or required.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Take Off- Remove formed/molded PVC fittings from table saw and place them in trim area or aside as needed.
- Flip the PVC fittings at the table
- Trimming PVC fittings with hand scissors to the correct lengths
- Converts fittings to meet established specifications
- Reports equipment malfunctions, operation delays, or product defects immediately to supervisor or leader.
- Follows job rotation schedule.
- FG Sorting & knowledge of bundling chart
- Prepares production reports as directed or required.
Performs other job or duties as directed or required
