Lifespire is currently seeking a Psychotherapist. Part time 3 days a week 9am-2:30 pm flexible hours/ days to work with the Psychology department to provide psychotherapy to individuals with Developmental Disabilities at D.D. Day program.

**This is a Fee for Service position for face to face in person psychotherapy three days a week ( flexible ) 9am to 2:30pm

Day program is in Manhattan by 125 Street and Lexington Ave.

Lifespire’s Article 16 Clinic has a position for an independent contractor to provide ongoing psychotherapy services. Supervision will be provided.

Job Responsibilities:

Therapist will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing face to face 30 minutes sessions with each service recipient
• Completing clinical notes via EHR system contemporaneously
• Complete treatment plans every 3 months and keep track of when each plan is due for review
• Complete psychotherapy screenings for incoming service recipients
• Consult supervisor with any issues that arise with a service recipient to obtain adequate guidance on how to resolve the situation presented
• Consult with Care Managers regarding service recipient, when needed
• Provide feedback on the service recipient’s progress with therapy during Life Plan meetings, bi- annually or as needed.
• Complete your own invoices for sessions provided and submit them to the billing manager to process for payment in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Must have a M.A. Psychology Degree or a LMSW

Must have or obtain Liability Insurance before starting the job

Must have excellent writing, communication, and computer skills

Salary: $65.00 per hour
