Psychology Associate

The Psychology Associate will work under the license of our Licensed Psychologist to conduct evaluations with children between the ages of 18 months through 16 years who are suspected of meeting diagnostic criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This involves diagnostic interview and assessment, including administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2). The Psychology Associate also writes diagnostic reports as well as provides feedback and recommendations to patients, families, and/or community agencies/providers. The Psychology Associate must be registered as a Psychology Associate with the state of Maryland’s Board of Examiners of Psychologists by their start date. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications of the Psychology Associate:

• Experience working with children with developmental disabilities and their families, including ASD.
• Experience in providing ASD assessments, including administration of the ADOS-2.
• Experience in writing diagnostic reports.
• Experience in conducting intakes and feedbacks with families.
• Master’s degree in psychology or related field, or doctoral level degree (Psy.D./Ph.D.) in psychology or related field.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Innovative personality and good problem solving skills.
• Meets eligibility requirements for a Psychology Associate.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Psychology Associate, verifiable by the state of Maryland’s Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
