We are currently seeking applicants for the following position:

Position: PSV Technician

Location: Troy, PA

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain total awareness of customer and company policy, regulations, and procedures.
• Perform field work and must demonstrate the proficient performance of all valve repair procedures.
• Knowledge of ASME, NBIC and API codes
• Service API/ANSI/other valves per customer & valve specifications.
• Must be able to pass drug screen, criminal background check and have a good driving record.
• Ability to teach/mentor apprentice-level employees to become leads
• Adhere to company safety policies (Job Safety Analysis, Critical Job Reviews, safety observation, etc.) and procedures.
• Conduct safety meetings with the work crew.
• Complete all paperwork and reports as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Proven ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Proven ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• VR & NBIC regulation understanding
• Service API/ANSI/other valves per customer & valve specifications.

Qualifications:

• NBBI VR Certificate

• Minimum of one year of experience conducting valve repair, testing, reconditioning, or modification

Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Associates degree or technical school degree preferred
• Preferred college vocation training with emphasis in the technical field
