Halo Hospitality is a Short-Term Rental Management company serving property owners and guests traveling to Knoxville,TN. We specialize in the management of luxury Homes & Condos, and experience-driven accommodations. We are a small business that was started 3 years ago with the goal of Leading the
Short-term Rental landscape in Knoxville, and is now one of largest provider of Short-Term Rental accommodations in the City. We are not done. We love our City, and are eager to showcase all of the amazing qualities about where we live to those traveling to it.

We have new opportunities on the horizon to expand into new territories, manage different types of properties such as boutique hotels and event venues, and serve even more Clients (Property Owners) & Customers (Guests).

Position Overview

Management technicians are the hands and feet of delivering our services to our customers and Clients, and are daily responsible for property & guest care. Their key objective is to ensure properties are maintained to the highest of quality at all times and world class hospitality is provided to guests during their stay.

Our Technicians report daily to the Territory Manager who provides leadership and accountability over the quality of our services. Like all of our team members, Technicians need to have a humble, hungry, and positive spirit as they take on daily and weekly objectives. They are excited for the opportunity to use their existing skills to make a positive impact on their work, and to learn new skills as the opportunity presents itself. They love to see a job or project through to completion, and should relish the opportunity to take on a variety of tasks in a single day.

Our Technicians are deeply committed to supporting the growth of the business and to growing their own skills as they develop into leaders within the company. This individual should be self motivated, show initiative, and is expected to hit the targets they set for themselves both personally and professionally.

What will you do?

These are the standards a well-above-average performer will maintain or exceed:

● Work independently to complete 7-10 daily assignments
● May visit up to 5-8 properties in a day (Knoxville Area) to complete assignments
● Use a variety of tools and equipment in a day, such as: miter saw, Ladder, pressure washer, lawn mower, Weed eater, paint brush, drill, etc.
● Identify basic issues to major home systems such as plumbing, HVAC, and electrical problems.
● Communicate professionally with guests that need assistance at a property
● Work “On-Call” during closed business hours and “put on the cape” as needed to support guests in emergency situations.
● Creating and completing reports
● Contact, schedule, and oversee the work of a contractor hired to perform a task
● Research the cost of a project, item, or service
● Deliver reports to Property operations manager, or an administrative assistant
● Hold yourself and other team members to high quality work, impeccable integrity, and personal & professional goals

● Property Management Team - Daily
● Vendors/contractors - as needed
● Clients - as needed to discuss maintenance issues or concerns
● Guests - as needed

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

● High school graduate
● Ability to demonstrate high standards of integrity on a daily basis
● Skilled in a variety of handyman tasks such as furniture assembly, hanging shelving, repairs to furniture, etc.
● Has basic knowledge of home systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC
● Can multi-task across varying projects in a day
● Remain organized & pay attention to details
● Can communicate effectively via text messaging, phone calls, and email
● Can read and understand directions and communicate issues or problems

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay: DOE (Depends on Experience)

Schedule:

● Part-Time & Full-time positions available
● 3-5 Day shifts, Monday - Sunday w/ rotating schedule
● Ideal candidate will be available to be On-Call 2-4 days in a week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
