Project Oversight Leader Job at Bridgeport Public Schools
- Coordinate and oversee various projects as assigned from conception to conclusion:
- Cost factors and budgeting
- Procurement of all necessary and required authorizations and permits
- Scheduling and logistics
- Conformance to Department and District standards
- Development and presentation of project progress reports
- Processing of invoices
- Complete and accurate file retention
- Liaison to various Board of Education and City of Bridgeport departments, contractors and vendors
- Assist in identification and management of department grants as appropriate for individual projects
- Assist in preparation of department budgeting and financing in conjunction with the BPS Finance Department
- Assist in organizing department and community projects
- Assist with long term capital and grant projects planning and forecasting
- Assist in the development and implementation of a sustainable preventative maintenance plan for all Bridgeport Public Schools facilities
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 5 years project management in a Facilities/Building Operations setting
- Familiarity with OSHA Safety regulations
- AIA document reading and review experience
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
