Responsibilities

We are on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager who possesses great passion for the gaming industry and could help us work on a brand new game project in our LA studio. You will be one of the core team members and collaborate with overseas colleagues to facilitate the progress and completion of this exciting project and eventually deliver it to millions of players all over the world. What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist the project leader to create and maintain project schedules and milestone documentation, monitor the progress of milestones and specific tasks against those schedules;
• Assist project leader to build shared technical strategy for each of the core technology fields. This may involve establishing new processes and frameworks; 3. Break down large or complex projects into meaningful subprojects, ensure team objectives and daily tasks delivered in time and develop innovative processes in order to fix issues and manage project risks;
• Ensure a common understanding and agreement on project scope and goals and on any subsequent changes;
• Help enhance the structure and communications within our core technology development teams to increase efficiency;
• Hold regular meetings with internal teams, individuals and business partners to discuss status, resolve issues and share information;
• Collaborate with human resources teams to ensure adequate manpower to meet technology roadmaps.

Qualifications

We Expect You To Have:

• Bachelor degree or above, with a computer-related major;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in game development and management as a producer/project manager/program manager;
• Strong understanding of software development and project management processes and practices and agile development methodologies;
• Deep understanding of the production process in both art and technology sides;
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence;
• Proven track record of helping publish game software products in a timely manner or in rapid development cycles;
• Ability to build regular reports of key actions and risks at different levels of detail;
• Proven track record of successful project planning leading to completion and the timely delivery of quality projects;
• Passion for video games and good knowledge of the video game industry;
• Strong sense of responsibility, conscientious and responsible, able to work under pressure, able to take the initiative and actively support the project team towards the goal;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively across product, development, and management teams;
• Excellent organizational & prioritization skills, attention to detail, process knowledge and ability to multitask.

Even better if you have:

• Experience working on AAA games and third-person action games;
• A technical degree or similar experience is a plus;
• Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO.

Additional Information

• This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles (currently hybrid because of pandemic);
• Current working hours: Monday – Friday, 11am – 8pm Pacific Time (including one-hour break);
• Salary depending on experience.
