Job Overview
GovernmentCIO is seeking a Project Manager who will provide project and Scrum management for Operations Triage Group (OTG) activities and projects using Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
Areas of support include:
- Development and management of charters, process improvement recommendation documents, presentations, memorandums of understandings/memorandums of agreements, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Responsible for managing Action Items and following up with action owners to ensure resolution.
- Maintain various program and project documents, data, processes, and artifacts in accordance with VA directives.
- Store Government and Contractor developed official program data, allowing audit trails and easy, logical retrieval on demand.
- Promptly respond to requests from VA for document retrieval and ad hoc reports, providing documents as required within one business day of request.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific /technical discipline is required.
- 10 + years of experience
- Or 8+ years in lieu of degree (18 years total experience)
Required Skills and Experience
- Must have experience managing Information Technology related projects.
- Must be well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies.
- Must have experience in tracking schedules and performance progress.
- Must be able to identify and mitigate risks.
- Experience with project management or issue management software (i.e., JIRA, ServiceNow, SharePoint).
- Experience with Microsoft Office, MS TEAMS, workflows, and workflow management
