Community Medical Centers (CMC) is launching an innovative new project in partnership with the City of Stockton that aligns with the community’s need for an alternative behavioral and mental health response as part of the local 911 emergency service system. CMC is looking for a highly-motivated, mission-driven, and action-oriented individual to manage the implementation of the project – Care Link Community Response – a mobile clinical response team that will be dispatched to calls and reports of cases and incidents involving behavioral and mental health, emotional support, and social needs.

Pay Starting: $35/hour

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager will help manage and track grant activities, milestones, and deliverables. The project manager will assist in the development of procedures and coordinate staff, community partners, and internal partners. The Project Manager reports to the Chief of Behavioral Health with strong collaboration with the operations department, including the Chief Operating Officer.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, behavioral health, or related field with three (3) years of related project management, healthcare, and/or practice management/clinical operations experience.; or associate degree in public health, behavioral health, or related field with five (5) years of experience; or High School Diploma with seven (7) years of related project management, healthcare, and/or practice management/clinical operations experience.
  • Ability to coordinate projects according to an outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Experience working with individuals who are homeless, have substance use disorders and/or mental health concerns, and serving LGBTQ+ populations with a passion for social justice and diversity, and inclusivity preferred.
  • Valid California driver's license, proof of insurance, and personal transportation

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Coordinate activities based on program and/or grant deliverables and timeline, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed
  • Coordinate integration of program staff, schedules, and scope to support the current needs of the project
  • Coordinate activities and integration of program staff to support the continuum of care after the initial call
  • Create and integrate policies and procedures into the project that promote culturally and linguistically relevant services
  • Prepare, oversee, and update budget based on grant amounts, the scope of work, and resources needed
  • Work with finance and other team members in budget oversight and reporting
  • Compile and complete all reporting outcomes for program interventions and monitor the successful achievement of overall program outcomes
  • Ensure all grant-required activities, indicators, and objectives are successfully met within the project timeframe and allocated budget
  • Foster positive collaboration and working relationships with community partners
  • Work with other departments and community-based organizations to ensure smooth implementation of project activities
  • Engage in both qualitative and quantitative tools to document and disseminate best practices for culturally competent services
  • Recruit, train, develop, and supervise program staff members
  • Attend and participate in staff, community, and program meetings as assigned
  • Travel to different sites as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
