Project Engineer (multiple openings) Job at Engineered Plastic Components
Project Engineer (multiple openings), Grinnell, IA and Kalona, IA- Interface with customers as project manager on new programs. Maintain the highest quality work to continuously ensure customer satisfaction. Perform product cost estimating. Follow tool progress at tool shops to ensure timely completion. Provide weekly reports to plant management the status of all new programs. Provide product design and tooling manufacturing feasibility. Ensure that all aspects of the projects are addressed and completed in a timely fashion. Perform as a team leader for internal product development team (PDT) for new programs. Attend PDT meeting and becomes a member of the customer’s PDT. Document all project activities in a program file. Work closely with manufacturing on repair and modification of existent tools and fixtures. Maintain the highest quality work to continuously ensure customer satisfaction. Up to 10% domestic travel. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering or related engineering degree and 2 years of engineering experience.
