We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can assist with the development, management, and execution of NBA 2K League events. This position will provide high-level project management support executing the day-to-day business operations for all NBA 2K League events with direction from the NBA 2KL's Production & Events leads. This role will work closely with cross-functional groups to ensure that the 2K League's event strategy is successful. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who delivers polished work material to key internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, collaborative environment.

Major Responsibility:

• Develop and execute a range of eSports events to the highest standards.
• Assist in overseeing the production of new and existing high-profile league events by serving as the day-to-day agency liaison and/or playing a significant role in cross-organizational teams that make those activations come to life.
• Oversee operational documentation such as event master schedule, calendars, managing edits and distribution for key internal and external constituents.
• Cultivate impactful presentations, maintain meeting and event postmortem notes, contact sheets, providing accuracy while delivering high-level information.
• Manage Event Requests (ME) for all NBA 2KL events where information is compiled to manage attendees across the NBA's master event portal.
• Supervise event credentials, guests, and hotel room blocks; providing updates to NBA Events as needed.
• Support with travel logistics for staff, talent, and vendors, such as flights, visas, and ground transportation arrangements both domestically and internationally.
• Track and maintain project budgets, department card reconciliations, invoice processing, onboarding, and logistics.
• Work across the organization to develop positive relationships and ensure input, feedback and approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
• Explore existing events and venue spaces within the eSports industry and identify opportunities to integrate and grow the NBA 2K League brand.
• Collaborate closely with internal groups to plan and manage event activations, develop innovative grassroots high-profile events to promote and support 2KL's fan engagement.
• Willingness to travel globally.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Event specialist with 3-5 years of professional experience at an experiential agency, sports/music/media/tech industry, broadcast, and live events experience strongly preferred.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasker with excellent time-management and analytical skills.
• Ideate on new concepts for special events.
• Create, plan, and execute innovative event experiences.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ability craft creative presentations via PowerPoint, working knowledge of Asana, and excellent budget management skills.
• Knowledge of eSports and gaming landscape a plus

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree required

Salary:

• $1350 to $1500 per week
