About this role:

Accomplishes software requirements by developing and maintaining applications and databases. Analyzing information, problem solving, attention to detail, software design, software debugging, software development, software documentation, software testing and software deployment processes.

Responsibilities:

• Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, logic and programming language.
• Programs project requirements in various computer languages by analyzing information and incorporating into software design, development, and deployment, including debugging exercises.
• Maintains computer systems and programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures and/or documentation.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge, reviews professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Will be working in a team setting with IT professionals and client facing specialists and communicate daily amongst the team.

Position Requirements/Desired Skills:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or related field.
• Working/hands on knowledge in SQL programming and relational databases required.
• Prefer knowledge with scripting languages such as Perl or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of the Agile software development process a plus.
• Effective oral and written communications skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products.
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and react to change positively.
• Develop software documentation and conduct software testing.
