Essential Function:
Under the direct supervision of the Program Administrator, the Program Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the IOP/OP program. The incumbent supervises and coordinates the staff in their duties, assists the Program Administrator in developing and maintaining service integration with available resources.

Under the direct supervision of the Program Administrator, the Program Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the IOP/OP program. The incumbent supervises and coordinates the staff in their duties, assists the Program Administrator in developing and maintaining service integration with available resources.
Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Implement program goals.
- Supervise and assist staff in clinical matters and responsibilities.
- Responsible to work within the allotted program budget.
- Ensure that case files are maintained in accordance with agency and DASA standards.
- Ensures that monthly program censuses are accurate, meet projections and are submitted on a timely manner.
- Network with current and prospective referral sources and other community agencies.
- Conduct bi-weekly staff meeting and weekly clinical staffing.
- Conduct staff annual performance appraisals.
- Provide weekly report of activities to the Program Administrator
- Maintain professional status.
- Comply with agency policies and procedures.
- Participate in agency fundraising efforts.
- Perform any other related duties as requested by the Program Administrator.
Program Manager Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred and have a thorough understanding of social and cultural patterns of Hispanics and other minorities.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Excellent supervisor skills (i.e., team building and coaching skills, with the ability to lead, encourage and train staff).
- Proficient in communicating accurately and effectively in both verbal and written correspondence, predominately English.
- Must be knowledgeable and able to utilize group dynamics.
- Flexible to adapt to schedules and work load to the needs and demands of the program.
- Possession of a valid Illinois driver’s license and willingness to use personal vehicle in course of employment.
- H.A.S. requires all staff to work on site.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree preferred in Human or Social Sciences, or Social Work, from a regionally accredited educational institution which has U.S. Department of Education approval, is preferred.
- Must have at least two (2) years management experience in the substance abuse field.
- Must have clinical and training experience in substance abuse and MISA (mental health) and familiar with the managed care environment.
- Must be familiar with DHS regulations (2060 & 2090), DMS-IVR, DSM-V, and ASAM placement criteria.
- Must be IAODAPCA certified/certifiable.
