Program Director, Family Support Services Job at Colorado Coalition for the Homeless
The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.
The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks a Director of Family Support Services and Renaissance Children’s Center to develop, manage, and supervise the services provided by the Family Support Services ( FSS ) Department and the Renaissance Children’s Center (RCC) program in accordance with applicable policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors, program funders, and Leadership staff. This position works collaboratively within CCH and with public and private agencies to address housing, healthcare, and support service needs of families and children experiencing homelessness in Metro Denver. This position is located at 2111 Champa., Denver, Colorado 80205 and reports to the VP of Supportive Housing.

9. Develops and improves relationships with FSS sub-grantee and community agencies to cultivate collaborations.
10. Monitors compliance with subcontracted agencies and/or with those agencies with which MOUs or contracts exist.
11. Authorizes expenditures for FSS staff and collaborates with the CCH grant analysts and accountants to monitor performance of and authorize payments for subcontractors.
12. Understands and follows all related policies and procedures of CCH and HIPAA federal and state requirements.
13. Understands and follows the generally accepted standards of professional responsibilities regarding supervision of clinicians, case managers, peer support specialists, outreach workers, and other staff with the goal of improving client care and implementing national best practices.
14. Contributes to the preparation of grant proposals and other fund development activities.
15. Serves as a member of various committees within CCH as well as external committees to represent and provide leadership regarding issues of family homelessness.
16. Implements quality improvement activities by providing oversight of implementation, documentation and follow-up.
17. Demonstrates core competency in HMIS and EHR and holds appropriate staff accountable to same.
18. Reports FSS and RCC status updates regularly to Chief Operating Officer.
19. Maintains a work environment that is marked by respect for others; that values inclusiveness and builds workforce diversity; and that fosters cooperation and teamwork.
20. Carries cell phone to maintain accessibility.
21. Maintains current and complete COVID‐19 vaccination(s), as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health authorities.
22. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications Summary
1. Master's degree in Social Work, Public Health, or Public Administration or closely related field, or equivalent experience in appropriate field required.
2. Extensive management / supervisory experience required.
3. Experience in Child welfare and/or human services preferred.
