Program Administrator of Behavioral Health Innovations Job at LifePath Systems

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Program Administrator of Behavioral Health Innovations is an integral part of the BH management team and reports directly to the Director of BH Innovations and Support. This position creates, implements, and oversees evidenced based training and quality assurance initiatives for behavioral health service delivery as well as develops, executes, and manages implementation place that promote opportunities for growth of the BH Division. The PA of BH Innovations provides ongoing analysis of overall BH programming and practices based on data driven reporting, up to date standards of care, and mental health and substance use needs and recovery options in order to equip workforce to meet the individualized needs of persons/families enrolled in LifePath Systems BH services. This position works closely with division leadership to promote effective care coordination strategies utilizing data to improve access to BH services, innovatively overcome barriers, and collectively coordinate with internal programming and external partners to promote seamless transition of care across a full spectrum of health and social services. The PA of BH Innovations continually analyzes and monitors workforce competencies through training development and service data outcomes. Other responsibilities include but not limited to: developing and providing evidenced based training, monitoring competencies of workforce, facilitating interdisciplinary team meetings, running reports and compiling data relevant to programming, developing workflows and procedures, and diagnostic assessments/reviews as needed.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, & EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • Licensed in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Master Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) required. Consideration of Associate or Intern license dependent on timeline to full licensure and experience working in a community mental health setting or CCBHC
  • Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in a community mental health setting or CCBHC required
  • Minimum of one year of Project Development, Evaluation and Management experience highly preferred.
  • Experience in training development and instruction required
  • Has at least three years of clinical experience in the treatment of individuals with mental illness and/or chemical If a shorter time the individual’s experience and aptitude to learn and perform the role well quickly will be taken into consideration.
  • Additional experience in management of budgets, design of processes and systems for delivering community-based services and coordination with a large management structure and stakeholder groups desired.
  • CBT, CPT, TF-CBT certification, and trauma informed training preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Comprehensive knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment, crisis procedures, medications, and clinical knowledge.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of TAC, UM guidelines, Info Item V, and CCBHC standards
  • Skilled at working with a variety of positions to develop efficient and effective systems for providing quality services and appropriate training to implement and monitor processes.
  • Experience in using data analyses to identify program improvements and collaborating with program workforce members to implement and monitor improvements.
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with key workforce members.
  • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization and externally to contractors and stakeholders.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with a team-oriented work style.
  • Organized, detail oriented, computer proficient, and have the ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to respond to individuals with patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Experience in working with individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or severe emotional disturbances.
  • Knowledge of the social services system and the ability to guide workforce members in connecting individuals with appropriate services.
  • Ability to work under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Ability to delegate tasks appropriately amongst team for operational excellence.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS

  • Must have valid Texas Driver License and a good driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to complete all LifePath Systems training.
  • Must be able to provide at least 3 professional or educational references.

BENEFITS

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 per Year

Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
