DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SALES ASSOCIATE:

• Greeting guests upon arrival to our Gallery and learning their motivation for a visit; really getting to know them and befriending them to develop long term professional relationships

• Discussing their home furnishing wants and needs for their living space and presenting furniture and décor selections which appropriately fit with these wants and needs

• Marketing and promoting special events and sales

• Assisting guests with selection, purchase, payment, finance, delivery, and service, always in a manner of providing the ultimate in guest satisfaction

• Continually increase personal knowledge of products, sales techniques, and promotions through professional and development.

• Merchandise, tag, clean, vacuum, and maintain assigned area of showroom to high standards.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS FOR SALES ASSOCIATE:

• Successful experience in commission/draw sales, especially home furnishings, is desirable but not required

• A background in retail sales, hospitality, restaurant, or customer service can be helpful

• Entrepreneurial spirit and team oriented

• Coachable and self directed and motivated with the desire to always learn and develop

• High energy people-person with relentless desire to please every guest

• Professional, driven, positive, resilient, and success focused

• Detailed, strong follow-up and follow-through with excellent time management skills

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and a great listener

• Basic computer skill

• Available to work a flexible full time schedule including nights and weekends

• High School diploma

• Ability to speak, read, and write English with a high degree of proficiency, ability to speak, read, and write Spanish, or other languages very helpful.
