We are a young company started in 2016, by Zachery. Zachery’s Moving Company is a labor only company meaning we do not provide the moving truck for the customer. We simply load and unload customers U-Hauls, Penske trucks etc. for them. We strive to provide great customer service and pride ourselves on our great yelp reviews.

Main Job Requirements:

  • Must be 18 or older
  • Must be reliable
  • Must have a dependable vehicle with at least 2 seats
  • Must have vehicle Insurance (state minimum at least) and a Valid Drivers License
  • Willing to travel to Sacramento and surrounding area, Stockton and surrounding area, East Bay area, and discovery bay area. If you have to travel for the job YOU WILL USE YOUR OWN VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT YOURSELF AND POSSIBLY ANOTHER WORKER. YOU WILL RECEIVE GAS PAYMENT THAT DAY FOR TRAVELING.
  • Able and willing to pass pre-employment criminal background check.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to exceed customers' expectations
  • Great work ethic
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Stamina to lift heavy items (100 lbs. or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc. and while navigating through doorways, stairs, and awkward narrow areas.
  • Experience as a mover, driver, general labor, or warehouse helpful
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional attitude and demeanor

Job Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to communicate in an effective, helpful and friendly manner with co-workers and customers
  • Must have the ability to listen and take instructions regarding customer service, moving/packing strategies and moving/packing techniques
  • Language Skills: ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Reasoning Ability: ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations and to interpret step-by-step instructions.
  • Load and unload furniture and boxes
  • Show up to work on time and ready to work

Hiring Process:

Qualified candidates will be contacted via email. From that point you will be asked to conduct a phone interview. After the phone interview, you will be asked to meet with the owner and office manager at Starbucks in trinity parkway for a brief interview and to go over job in detail.
