PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - Wise Foods, Inc. - Salty Snacks Food Manufacturing Plant

Responsibilities of this role include:
You will ensure the products and people are safe and manage regulatory compliance requirements as defined by OSHA, FDA, and EPA
Compliance with Safety requirements: Activities & Involvement, Rules and Procedures, & Incident Investigation.
- Responsible for monthly facility Safety Audits.
- Following guidelines and promote OSHA standards on a daily basis.
- Adhering strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure product quality.
- Focusing on ensuring a safe, accident-free production area, while increasing productivity and exceeding client satisfaction and company production objectives.
- You will ensure the products meet Wise specified targets for attributes
Implementing Quality policies and procedures including; HACCP, metal detection, recall procedures, hold procedures and lot traceability.
- Analyze production issues and recommend a course of action.
- Create operating procedures for processes, data collection, and process operating guidelines.
- Lead initiatives for plant productivity and efficiencies.
- Develop continuous improvement projects and manage to a conclusion.
- You'll coordinate activities between all shifts and supervisors in the Department.
Lead production supervisors and department by communicating the production plan based on the daily needs of the department
- Communicate with Maintenance Manager to establish priorities
- Understand the budgeting of production management to determine costs and factory contribution.
- Responsible for adhering to the department budget.
- Execution and project management of investments allocated to achieve the established commitments.
You'll perform these Compliance Duties:
- Implement guidelines of the Quality Management System of ARCA CONTINENTAL to meet requirements, standards and specifications.
- Support for the operating personnel have skills to develop their activities , to promote continuous improvement.
- Establish and measure the effectiveness of points and control measures in place to prevent and correct deviation presented in the processes and indicators
You'll perform these Production Management Duties:
- Verify compliance programs daily, weekly and monthly production to deliver products required.
- Oversight for the inventory of packaging and raw material available to meet production schedules .
- Establish priorities for production schedules, communicating with the scheduler to determine the machine availability.
You'll perform these Planning Duties:
- Line balance analysis to determine the optimum resources needed to operate efficiently.
- Frequently revise indicators established to improve trend and meet
MINIMALLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES have the following required skills and experience:
- Associates degree
- Led supervisors in a food production facility.
- Possess basic Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, EMP, FMLA, ADA.
IDEAL CANDIDATES also have the following skills and experiences:
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Over three (3) years' experience supervising production supervisors and their teams in a unionized manufacturing facility.
Experience with grievances and discipline process.
Implemented production and/or quality control improvements on food manufacturing facilities.
Has worked with certifications or audits from OSHA, FDA, EMP.
Has worked with FMLA and ADA cases in a manufacturing facilities.
Participated in projects related to quality control standards, lean manufacturing, six sigma, or any form of QC related to TPS.
Experience in maintaining food industry grade machinery.
